YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — In an interesting turn of events, Crypto celebrity Logan Paul has apologized to fellow YouTuber CoffeeZilla (Stephen Findeisen). The apology comes about two weeks after the two fell over the NFT project called CryptoZoo and its native ZOO token.

CoinChapter reported that CoffeeZilla created much flutter after he accused Logan Paul of profiting from a scam project. In a three-part video report series, the YouTuber reminded users that the NFT Project, which Logan Paul had relentlessly promoted, had failed to take off.

Even before its launch, CryptoZoo had reached a whopping $2 billion valuation in 2021 through its in-house currency, ZOO. This, according to CoffeeZilla, was mostly because Paul had thrown his weight behind it.

As evident from his investigative video report, several investors had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars believing in it. However, the developers abandoned the project instead of giving investors the promised returns, and Paul distanced himself from it.

According to Findeisen, the developers had no choice but to abandon the project midway because Logan Paul failed to pay them for their work.

Of course, Paul would have loved for those skeletons to stay in the closet, but CoffeeZilla had other plans.

After the expose, Paul denied the allegations and threatened to take CoffeeZilla to court. Moreover, he released a video response to his rival YouTuber, accusing him of going “from an investigator to a gossip channel.

He even accused the developers of the project of its failure in an attempt to shift the blame completely away from him.

Change of heart? Paul Logan issues an apology.

However, despite all the bravado and muscle-flexing, Paul Logan has had a change of heart. Not only has he decided to drop plans to sue CoffeeZilla, but he has also issued an apology.

The controversial YouTuber called his exposer to apologize and even deleted his video response. He informed them of his actions to the community on Discord and promised to rectify the situation.

“I will be taking accountability, apologizing, and coming forward with a plan in the near future. Thank you all for believing in this project & sticking with me. I know it’s been bumpy but your support is everything to me and I will make this right,”

Paul wrote.

CoffeeZilla also confirmed on Twitter that Paul had apologized to him after days of back-and-forth insults. Sharing the news with his fans, he expressed hope that he “refunds the victims of CryptoZoo.”

Crypto Zoo was launched in 2021 as an NFT game on Binance Smart Chain, promising players a steady passive income.

In the game, users would be expected to buy “eggs” that hatch into animals. They could then use two animals for breeding into a hybrid animal, which, depending on their rarity level, were supposed to give them daily returns. They could then use these earnings (in the form of ZOO tokens) to buy more eggs or cash them out in fiat.

While the CryptoZoo is yet to hit the market, one game developer named Yippy has already released a game he calls RealZoo. In a video post, he explains how he decided to create the game within hours, which Paul failed to release since 2021.

His game, however, is not on the blockchain but is a free version for people to enjoy.
