Hamster Kombat Confirms $HMSTR Coin Listing On Bitfinex — Is Binance the Next?

The Hamster Kombat team has announced that its native token, $HMSTR, will list on Bitfinex on September 26. Both the exchange and the Hamster Kombat team have only shared the listing date and not much else so far. The game’s community and those eager to invest in the coin will be eagerly awaiting more information.

Earlier, Bybit and OKX also announced the listing of the $HMSTR coin on their platforms. Bybit will offer USDT-margined Pre-Market Futures for $HMSTR. This feature will allow traders to speculate on the token’s price with up to 2x leverage before official trading starts. Additionally, OKX plans to run promotional campaigns before the listing to engage users. 

Additionally, there is ongoing speculation regarding a potential listing of the HMSTR token on Binance. However, Binance hasn’t provided an official confirmation concerning the potential listing.

The initial trading price for Hamster Kombat HMSTR coin is expected to start at around $0.01, with projections suggesting it could rise to $0.05 by year-end. 

Airdrop to Distribute 60% of The Supply

Hamster Kombat will conduct an airdrop on September 26. The airdrop will reward active players of the game. Eligibility for the airdrop will depend on game activity and community involvement. 

Originally scheduled for July, the airdrop faced postponement due to technical issues and internal conflicts within the development team. This delay impacted the game’s active user base. In fact, it saw a sharp decline from 155 million to 87 million in just a week.

In response to these challenges, the Hamster Kombat team revised the game’s tokenomics, allocating 60% of the HMSTR tokens to the players. They also introduced a new feature called the Playground to rejuvenate interest and engagement among the community prior to the airdrop.

Hamster Kombar Coin Value to Decline Soon After Listing?

Notably, Vladislav Antonov, a financial analyst at Bitriver, has expressed concerns regarding the Hamster Kombat value prospects post-airdrop. According to Antonov, while the airdrop may initially spike interest, the coin could face a decline as users might quickly convert their HMSTR holdings into other cryptocurrencies. As the airdrop date approaches, only time will tell how investors and the Hamster Kombat community will react after the big day.
