Task Description

The SPK Overdrive airdrop begins on July 29, 2025, marking the second phase of the Ignition airdrop series. This new phase gives eligible participants the opportunity to earn additional SPK by locking their previously airdropped tokens. The Overdrive campaign redistributes SPK that was left unclaimed during the Ignition phase.

Overdrive is only open to users who claimed their Ignition airdrop before the deadline. The Ignition claiming window remains open for six weeks following the original airdrop date. After that, any unclaimed SPK is removed from circulation in the first phase and reallocated to a reward pool for Overdrive participants.

The Overdrive period runs from July 29, 2025, 14:00 UTC (DATE_1) to August 11, 2025, 14:00 UTC (DATE_2). Participants who stake their Ignition SPK during this time, under the required conditions, become eligible to receive a share of the redistributed tokens.

How to Qualify for Spark Token Airdrop Overdrive

To participate, users must:

  • Claim their Ignition SPK before the end of the original claim window.

  • Stake at least the full amount of their Ignition allocation by DATE_1, using the same wallet.

  • Keep the staked tokens locked and ensure they do not enter cooldown at any point between DATE_1 and DATE_2.

  • Only the SPK earned from the Ignition airdrop counts toward eligibility.

  • Staking more than the initial allocation does not increase Overdrive rewards.

Boosting Overdrive Rewards

Users can boost their rewards through Spark Savings. The requirements for boosting are:

  • Maintain at least 1,000 USDS or USDC in Spark Savings linked to the claiming wallet by DATE_1.

  • Keep this minimum balance in Spark Savings continuously through the Overdrive period.

  • Users who already meet the minimum balance before Overdrive starts do not need extra action.

Distribution Rules and Limits

Overdrive tokens come from unclaimed Ignition SPK. Distribution depends on “Overdrive units,” which are calculated as follows:

  • Users earn one Overdrive unit per Ignition SPK token staked during the entire period.

  • Boosting doubles the number of Overdrive units.

  • Each user’s share is proportional to their units compared to the total units.

There is a maximum limit to prevent uneven payouts. Users can receive no more than 10 times their Ignition airdrop amount. Any leftover tokens return to the Spark treasury.
