Task Description
Binance Alpha will list Yala (YALA) on July 22, 2025, and open airdrop claims for eligible users holding Alpha Points. According to a post on X, users can redeem their YALA airdrop through the Alpha Events page once trading begins. Binance urged participants to check its official channels for detailed claim instructions. The launch follows Yala’s first airdrop season and marks a new phase in the project’s development, especially as it moves toward broader DeFi adoption.

Yala Brings Bitcoin-Backed Stablecoin to DeFi
Yala introduces a Bitcoin-backed, yield-generating stablecoin called $YU. The project allows users to mint $YU by depositing native Bitcoin, combining BTC’s value storage strength with stablecoin flexibility. This design supports a more secure and stable environment for DeFi activities, enabling users to retain exposure to Bitcoin while participating in yield strategies.
At the heart of the system is MetaMint, a crosschain protocol that enables instant conversion of native BTC into stablecoins across EVM-compatible chains—without wrapping. This removes friction from the process, reducing user complexity and potential technical vulnerabilities.
Yala’s focus on simplicity and security has drawn strong interest. The team raised $8 million in funding from major backers including Polychain Capital and Ethereal Ventures. That capital will support development, audits, and ecosystem growth.
Season 1 Distributed 3.4% of YALA Supply
On July 8, 2025, Yala conducted a snapshot for its Season 1 airdrop. The team allocated 34,000,000 YALA tokens—3.4% of the total supply—for eligible Ethereum, Solana, and X users. Those who met the criteria can now claim their rewards during the current claim window. Yala plans to reallocate any unclaimed tokens to future airdrop rounds.
The team is preparing Season 2 of its airdrop program. While details have not yet been released, the July 22 listing on Binance Alpha sets the stage for the next distribution. Interested users should follow Binance Alpha’s official updates as the launch approaches.
