Los Angeles (CoinChapter) – It’s no secret that non-fungible tokens (NFT) have been a hot commodity as of late. Recent data shows the four largest decentralized NFT DApps represent more than $10 million worth of daily sales. According to decentralized application data aggregator DappRadar, those apps are NBA Top Shot, CryptoPunks, Mooncats, and Sorare. They make up 86% of the combined daily volume of the 10-largest DApps that bring in $12.27 million.

However, NBA Top Shot is the dominant NFT DApp by all metrics. A total of 30,944 collectors have completed 30,372 transactions worth $4.62 million over the past 24 hours alone.

CryptoPunks ranks second by volume with $4.28 million but fares poorly by traders and number of transactions. On Tuesday, a mere 85 users executed 69 trades.

Mooncat ranks third by daily volume with $1.02 million but has the same problem as CryptoPunks. It ranks seventh with 500 users and eighth by total trade count (530).

Fantasy football game Sorare ranks fourth by trade volume with $881,700. The platform performs much better in terms of traders with 1,978, and third by activity with 2,544 transactions executed over the past 24 hours.

Another popular NFT app is WAX-based game Alien World. It ranks second with 1,172 traders and third by activity with 3,705 transactions daily.

Rarible also ranks prominently, coming in at fifth by volume with $530,000, fourth by users with 1,062, and fifth by transactions with 987.

Digital sporting collectibles in particular are surging in popularity. NBA Top Shot and Sorare’s 32,894 users have driven $5.3 million worth of trades in the past 24 hours.

NFT depicting star soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo sells for record $290,000

Earlier this week, Sorare announced that an NFT depicting star player Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus F.C. had traded hands for nearly $290,000. Setting a new record for the value of a single token sold on the platform.

The transaction bested NBA Top Shot’s previous record NFT sale. With a token depicting highlights from Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James selling for $208,000 on Feb. 23.
