The ApeLiquid NFT ecosystem consisting of a play-to-earn (P2E) strategy game and 7 NFT collections showcasing their AI evolved NFT artwork.
Holders of ApeLiquid’s multiple character NFT collections have seen their artwork evolve from their old 2D drawing into other-worldly variations. The style of transformation that the artwork performs is based on the different worlds that the holder journeyed to in the ApeLiquid P2E game.
ApeLiquid released their first collection in March of 2022, and nearly a year later the game has grown into 7 NFT collections and an ERC-20 token called METL which ties the whole ecosystem together. All of the NFTs are used for some facet of the “trading card game” – a blockchain, turn-based game with earned rewards. The different types of NFTs are characters, artifacts, and keys.
The total number of NFTs currently in the Ape Liquid ecosystem is over 35,000 with most of them having been free airdrops and rewards to their community members and holders. Some of the NFTs also generate the METL in-game utility token which holders can use in the ecosystem or take to crypto exchanges to trade.
One of the most exciting updates in the ecosystem was the integration of the AI art transformation. ApeLiquid developed a proprietary system, infrastructure, and process, along with an AI which runs the blockchain game, generates events, tracks all the characters, worlds, and Mythic Journeys, as well as evolves the original NFTs whenever they have reached certain in-game milestones and experiences.
This spirit of constant development and updates has led to a strong community, and a recent study done by Ape Liquid themselves found that 97% of all people who have bought ApeLiquid NFTs are in profit. This comes from the increasing demand for the NFTs raising floor prices, along with the airdrops and METL rewards accumulation which all can be sold on the secondary market.
