First of the many Indian celebrity NFT launches?

The legendary actor’s NFT collection will launch on the BeyondLife.club platform. In addition, the platform has teamed up with some of India’s top artists, musicians, bands, athletes, and A-listed brands to “invoke an NFT Revolution.”

BeyondLife.club results from a partnership between Indian film production company Rhiti Entertainment and Guardian Link, a decentralized legitimacy protocol for NFT exchanges.

To make NFTs more accessible to those without digital assets, BeyondLife.club allows users to buy NFTs with credit cards and through other digital payment methods.

Following the footsteps of the largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea, the Indian platform allows users to upload, mint, publish, and trade or auction NFTs.

“Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be the first one to roll out his NFT collection through BeyondLife.club. These collectables will represent his legendary status and mark the opening of this maiden NFT platform.”

BeyondLife.club said in a statement.

Post Bachchan’s launch, we can expect NFTs from more influential Indian celebrities to hit the market. In the first half of 2021, the global volume of NFT sales reached $2.5 billion. With the entry of Indians en mass into the crypto space, this number can go up tremendously.

Will India prove to be NFTs secret sauce?

With the NFT industry rapidly on the rise, many celebrities have cashed in on the opportunity. Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Ellen DeGeneres, Eminem, Lindsay Lohan, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey have already launched their NFTs.

Meanwhile, Indian celebrities have a huge fan following. Should Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT launch meet the expectations and sell out fast, it will usher in a new era for non-fungible tokens. The Asian market has so far stayed comparatively away from the NFT boom. However, all that could change in a few months, taking NFT to new heights in the crypto space.

As the website claims, “it’s the millions of Indians who will make that difference.”
