YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Cardano (ADA) founder and Input Output HK CEO Charles Hoskinson has reignited the old rivalry with the Ethereum (ETH) Army. In a long Twitter thread, he attacked fans of the world’s second-largest crypto by market cap, calling them out for being ungenerous and for targetting his project.
Hoskinson is one of the co-founders of the Ethereum blockchain. He left in 2014 after disagreements with the team regarding the project’s future direction.
Hoskinson called on the ETH fans to “grow up” and stop obsessing over his six months at Ethereum. According to him, some arguments they bring against Cardano are void of logic.
“It’s a crime on that side of the fence to even mention Cardano. If you don’t believe me, then send me links to interviews or posts discussing our technology objectively. You just won’t find any. It’s bereft of intellectual honesty and commonsense,”
the entrepreneur claimed.
Hoskinson also slammed the Ethereum Army for ignoring Ouroboros, Cardano’s proof-of-stake protocol, for years.

Hoskison’s latest attack on the Ethereum Army has again made public how hurt and bitter he has been for years. The criticisms of ETH fans and crypto analysts of Hoskinson and the Cardano network have never gone down well with the ADA Army.
Many observing Cardano from the side has accused Hoskinson of running a troll army and engaging bots to attack those who criticize him.
The idea that the project functions as a club of loyalists who blindly follow Hoskinson have hurt the Cardano chief.
“There is this bizarre parallel world where everything Cardano has done is a useless scam that couldn’t possibly be innovative. Rather, we are a cult beholden to an evil, sociopathic, but incompetent pathological lying founder who somehow has stumbled upon stolen success but will be in jail any moment now when the world wakes up,”

Is Ethereum the Hotel California of Crypto?
While Hoskison complains about the Ethereum Army, he has not been very generous. On several occasions, he has not lost the opportunity to hit out at his former colleagues.
In June 2022, he criticized Ethereum, claiming that its “Merge” upgrade would not come before 2023-2024. However, as CoinChapter earlier reported, Vitalik Buterin and his team were able to launch Ethereum 2.0 this month.

In the past, Hoskinson has also accused ETH of being “broken.” Moreover, as this report revealed, he described the community as a “dumpster fire.”
Earlier this month, Hoskinson called Ethereum (ETH) the “Hotel California of Crypto.” He responded to a tweet that revealed users could not withdraw their funds held up in ETH staking after it was delayed beyond the Shanghai upgrade.
The Hotel California is a famous song by the Beatles group about a prison from which no one can escape.
Meanwhile, while Hoskinson is bitter at the Ethereum Army, he is convinced that Cardano “will change the world.” Time will tell.
