China says Biden Administration started the Ukraine war to profit from it

YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — China has blamed the United States Government for the war in Ukraine. According to Beijing, the actions of the Biden Administration continue to fuel the conflict, which the US profits from. The latest war of words comes days after Washington claimed Chinese state-owned firms are helping Russia in the ongoing invasion.

Rubbishing the allegations, the country’s Foreign Ministry said that the US should stop sending weapons to Ukraine if it is so concerned to see the war ended. The ministry also clarified, that China, unlike the US, “would never add fuel to the fire, still less exploit the crisis“. 

Moreover, Beijing insisted that the Biden Administration is trying to victimize Chinese firms by “sowing paranoia and pointing fingers at China“.

“The US is the one who started the Ukraine crisis and the biggest factor fueling it. We reject such groundless blackmail, and would not sit by and watch the US harm the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.” 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in response to a reporter’s question during a regular press briefing in Beijing.

China says US profits from Ukraine war, practices double standards

Last week, the United States sanctioned a Chinese company that allegedly provided satellite imagery of Ukraine to the Russian mercenary Wagner Group. 

Spacety China supplied these images to Teerra Tech, the Russia-based company. The firm then shared these images with the Russian soldiers “to enable Wagner combat operations in Ukraine“. 

The Changsha Tianyi Space Science and Technology Research Institute, as the company is officially called, has now joined the US Treasury Department’s sanction list. 

However, Chinese authorities deny that they had any role in it. Instead, Beijing now accuses the Biden Administration of profiteering from the misery of the Ukrainians. 

Moreover, the Spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry also criticized the US record on human rights, accusing the country of being racist towards Americans of African descent. She also accused the United States of exercising double standards by assuming the moral authority to lecture other countries. 

“We often hear the words democracy, freedom, and human rights from the lips of US officials and see how these concepts being used to justify US interference in other countries’ internal affairs. We hope the US government will stop treating itself with double standard, stop looking the other way when it comes to police brutality and racial discrimination at home, and stop such tragedies from happening again,” 

Ning said. 

In a stern warning to Joe Biden and Co, the representative of the Chinese Communist regime also warned the US Government to stop meddling in the Taiwan question. The US efforts to support Taiwan’s independence will give birth to “new factors that could lead to tensions in the Taiwan Strait“. 

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine completes one year, China has increasingly threatened to invade Taiwan. The latest report of its involvement in Kremlin’s war will have its consequences.
