LAGOS (CoinChapter.com) — The nonfungible tokens (NFTs) of legendary footballer Ronaldo de Assis Moreira — commonly known as ‘Ronaldinho’ — has failed to launch after months of waiting.

The former FC Barcelona player earlier announced the launch of his NFT collection scheduled to roll out in February 2022. However, as the speculated month ended, the much anticipated NFT launch was not released, and the football star shared no information.

Through his Twitter handle, Ronaldinho had announced a partnership with Shirtum, a sport-focused digital platform, to release his NFT collection. The collaboration would allow fans to collect Ronaldinho NFTs and interact with the football star via Shirtum metaverse.

However, due to unspecified delays, fans will now have to wait longer to release the digital collectibles. Furthermore, it is important to note that the NFT collection is formed by 10.010 unique Dinhos that honor the life and career of Ronaldinho.
