Germany To Send More MARS II To Ukraine After Russia Attack Its Embassy

New Delhi(Coinchapter.com): German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht has pledged to provide more PzH 2000 and MARS II MLRS to Ukraine in the coming weeks.

According to the Ministry, “We will continue to supply Ukraine with PzH 2000 and MARS II. More weapons will be handed over in the next few weeks.”

Ramstein-format meetings are held at a special time: during periods of Russian missile attacks and partial mobilization, sham referendums, as well as Ukraine’s counter-offensive.

On October 12-13, Brussels will host a meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of defense ministers, as well as a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein-6) hosted by the U.S.

The officials will consider the current state of military deterrence and capabilities, as well as considering ways to protect infrastructure. Furthermore, they aim to maintain military aid to Ukraine as a means of strengthening defense mechanisms.

Russia Bombs Germany Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine

Russian airstrikes left the Germany embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine badly damaged on Monday, according to German media Bild. However, the building had been empty for months due to the Ukrainian conflict. As reported by Euro News, parts of the Germany embassy in Kyiv were also damaged.

This tweet about the attack came from Russia-born journalist Sergej Sumlenny.

The incident unfolded just days after Germany condemned Russia. Germany has been a strong supporter of Ukraine and one of the prominent voices within the European Union, which has imposed economic sanctions on Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine.
