Grammy Award Winning Artist Ryan Tedder To Debut NFTs On Origin

Ryan Tedder to launch NFT collection

Long Beach (CoinChapter): Origin on Tuesday announced the upcoming launch of an exclusive NFT collection from three-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, and producer Ryan Tedder. Tedder may be most known as the frontman for the band ONEREPUBLIC.

These NFTs will be a collaboration with Swiss graffiti artist Bustart, and will go live on Tuesday, April 27. It will be available on ryantedder.com and users can sign up for notifications on Origin today. It is also worth noting this is the first NFT available on Origin.

All visual and audio elements are custom-created for the collection and will celebrate a throwback to Ryan’s youth and view of life. The announcement adds the collection is meant to evoke “happiness, irreverence, and animated nostalgia.”

In addition to his music, Tedder has long been invested in the modern art community. This, in part, is one of his driving forces to entering the NFT space. Furthermore, Tedder hopes to “honor the artists and engineers who have been pioneers in this space,” by providing mainstream exposure.

This won’t be a one-time thing for Tedder as he is committed to releasing multiple collections over the coming months. Additionally, he wants to help new creators to “engage with collectors and fans in new and unique ways.”

Ryan Tedder latest celebrity to join NFT craze

Tedder is the latest celebrity to join the NFT craze and the number seems to grow on a daily basis. Kings of Leon recently became the first artists to release a full album as an NFT and other musicians have gotten involved as well.

Likewise, NFTs have completely taken over the sports collectibles world as numerous athletes have gotten involved in NFTs in some way. Tom Brady, Peyton and Eli Manning, and Patrick Mahomes have all joined. That’s not to mention Dapper Labs’ NBA Top Shot and a recent MLB’s first NFT collection.

Atari has joined from the gaming side of things, and of course it has helped in art world. Digital artist Beeple still owns the record for highest selling NFT, selling a piece for $69.3 million.
