YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — The cryptocurrency industry is trying to get back on its feet. However, grifters and scammers continue to disrupt confidence among investors. One such crypto scam was the HareKing ERC20 token. Now, a new project called HareGod Token, linked to the HareKing scam, comes to fraud investors.

But before we dive into the HareGod token, let us first remember the HareKing token scam.

What is the HareKing token and why is it a scam?

Positioning itself as a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, HareKing was launched in 2021. It claimed to offer various financial services like yield farming, liquidity pools, and staking.

Playing on the Binance (BNB) Smart Chain, the HareKing ERC20 token quickly gathered gullible fans who hoped they had landed on the next big meme token.

However, didn’t take long before a closer analysis of the token suggested that the HareKing Coin was not a legit project but a scam.

The project’s website and its WhitePaper, which made tall claims about the token, is no longer accessible. Right from the start, it was not clear who the so-called creators behind the project were.

Nothing was known about their background or their credentials in the crypto industry. The lack of transparency raised a massive red flag.

We tried visiting the website again to find out if HareKing is legit. To our surprise (not really), we couldn’t get in. The developers have a login wall up that just doesn’t allow you to register or log in.

Moreover, Twitter has suspended the handle that the developers used to attract investors. Fishy, right?

As it stands, the HareKing project was a massive rug pull. The developers decided to pack up and leave, shutting down everything that would remind people of the scam.

Meanwhile, there is still a token with that name trading on PancakeSwap. However, it is difficult to pin down the HareKing token price as there isn’t enough data.

Although CoinMarketCap suggests the price to be $0.0002040, it has issued a warning that the information is “unverified”.

HareKing was a scam, but not its fans have launched a fresh project to fraud investors.

HareGod Token to replace HareKing

Disappointed by the fact that the HareKing project did not take off, some enthusiasts have not launched a new Hare-teamed project. Called the HareGod token, the new crypto token comes to replace its predecessor.

The whitepaper of this new scam project is full of basic English errors. Any 3rd grader would have written it better, given the chance.

The project claims to have big ambitions, like creating NFTs, and mobile games and offering staking options to the community.

“HareGod was created of the necessity of a coin that could be managed 100% by the community, since HareKing was left aside by previous team, the community created HareGod,”

the website reads.

Just like the HareKing token, the HareGod claims to have 100,000 tokens that will repeat the impressive rally of the iconic meme token Shiba Inu (SHIB)

In what comes as no surprise either, the official Twitter handle of the project, as mentioned on the website, is also suspended.

So is HareKing legit? No! Should you invest in the HareGod token? No! These are scams and you should stay away from them.
