“I was thinking getting half of it tattooed somewhere on my arm at a tattoo artist and the other half by another tattoo artist in a different country, on the inside walls line between my a** cheeks. Just think about it. This way my family can know and check my body in case of sudden death,”

he wrote. 

He suggests telling his family that he has the phrase somewhere on his body but not the exact location. That way, they will eventually find it if he dies. Moreover, nobody else will consider checking “there.” This will make it safe, and he can still access it with the help of a mirror. 

Revolting? Well…to each their own. Although the post is meant as a joke, it has started a chain of reactions. Nothing works like bringing humor into a serious discussion does. 

But you don’t have to go down his route. Print your seed phrase in custom-made underwear. Make it appear only under a UV light. 

Or, write a story and make every say 7th word match your seed phrase if you like to keep it clean. It’s not like anyone is going to know. Whatever rolls for you.

If you have $5 billion in Bitcoin (BTC) but lose your seed phrase, you don’t have $5 billion in BTC. Those tokens will still exist, but they won’t be yours. 

If someone finds your seed phrase, your BTC will belong to them. If nobody finds it, it remains in the land of no return.
