Based on the answers from 43,312 people across 26 countries, the United States currently ranks 18th in terms of P2E adoption. The survey results also revealed that men are more likely to take an interest in NFT gaming than women.

P2E crypto games have become popular since projects like Sandbox, and Axie Infinity made headlines. By playing crypto NFT games, users earn two types of cryptocurrency; in-game crypto in tokens or existing blue-chip cryptocurrency like Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH).

“These games have already taken off in countries like India and the Philippines where people are reportedly quitting their jobs to earn money on P2E platforms,”

Finder.com’s cryptocurrency editor Keegan Francis claimed.

With more people looking to earn a quick buck, the adoption of play-to-earn crypto games will rise. Additionally, as Francis states, P2E adoption will likely grow in the U.S. as more developers build crypto mechanics into their ecosystems.
