Why BudBlokz, Near Protocol, and Rummy Could be 2023’s Crypto Leaders

BudBlokz (BLUNT) Near Protocol

While established cryptocurrencies continue to struggle, investors and analysts seeking the crypto sector’s next vanguard have begun to look to newer, less-hyped tokens. Three cryptocurrencies, each offering more substance than flash, have begun to emerge from the field. Runfy (RUNF) and BudBlockz (BLUNT) each offer a healthy range of use cases rooted in proven, growing retail industries, while Near Protocol (NEAR)provides developers with the tools and infrastructure they need to build the next generation of blockchain-spanning digital services.

BudBlockz recently finished a successful private sale ahead of schedule, and its official presale is off to a promising start. The cannabis-oriented currency has impressed investors with a prudent roadmap that offers considerable upside exposure without getting ahead of itself.

Like most new cryptocurrencies, BLUNT will facilitate an NFT marketplace. But BudBlockz plans to complement its collectible NFTs with asset-backed tokens that can be used to invest in real-world cannabis companies, through contracts negotiated on the BudBlockz platform. Early cannabis cryptos often used ATMs to help dispensaries deal with cashflow issues. BudBlockz plans to address this persistent problem in a more elegant, flexible, and usable way by investing in its own point-of sale network. The retail cannabis industry is maturing even as it continues to grow. BudBlockz may be the right cryptocurrency at the right time.

Runfy’s move-to-earn business model expands on that of M2E pioneer StepN’s. While StepN builds its use cases on a relatively simple step-counting model, Runfy models its platform after traditional gym memberships, rewarding users for meeting incremental fitness goals. This outcomes-based approach lets Runfy tailor its services and reward system to the needs and goals of each user. Those who wish to lose weight will be presented a series of daily exercise and dietary goals; users who wish to increase their stamina or strength might receive a completely different list, customized for their purposes. The first round of Runfy’s presale is scheduled to run through October 9.

Near Protocol recently concluded a significant VC funding round, a sign that investors see potential in its vision of a community-based distributed computing platform. Like Polygon (MATIC) and other similar platforms, Near Protocol promises a development environment that unifies disparate blockchains, extending the use cases of the dApps it supports. NEAR hopes to distinguish itself by offering greater throughput, faster transaction times, and lower transaction costs than its competitors, and by supporting developers with a unified toolset geared specifically to dApp production.

If its plans come to fruition, Near Protocol could appeal to a much wider range of developers than other similar networks, theoretically expanding its range of use cases beyond what others can hope to support. The market has bought into NEAR’s value proposition since its August 2020 ICO, and the token has weathered the recent crypto downturn better than most of its peers.

Investors looking for a mix of stability and future promise should look carefully at Near Protocol, which is staking a claim to the market presence that several similar cryptocurrencies have struggled to solidify. BudBlockz and Runfy, by contrast, are both upcoming tokens whose roots in proven consumer industries could give them a degree of staying power that sets them apart over the next 12 months.
