YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Oscar-winning Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins is looking to buy a nonfungible token (NFT). The celebrated British star has asked singer Snoop Dogg, comedian and television host Jimmy Fallon, and actress Reese Witherspoon for advice.

The three celebrities have become popular in the space, holding collectibles from reputed drops, including Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), World of Women (WOW), and Moonbirds, among others.

To expand his presence in the nonfungible token space, Hopkins purchased an Ethereum Name Service (ENS) name. His Twitter profile display name now reads AHopkins.eth.

ENS is a name service built on the Ethereum blockchain, connecting to a particular wallet address. Since crypto wallet addresses are complicated, it helps shorten them, making them easy to read.

They have since become popular among celebrities, companies, and people who want to establish an identity in Web3.

Jimmy Fallon has already responded to the multi-award-winning actor, whom Queen Elizabeth II knighted in 1993.

“I don’t know much – but I know I love you.” And that may be all you need to know. DM me,”

Anthony Hopkins is not new to NFTs

Although the Hollywood Walk of Fame actor is looking to buy his first NFT piece, he is not new in the space. His film Zero Contact hit the screens last year as an NFT on the Vuele platform.

According to the official website, Enderby Entertainment’s film was produced in 17 different territories entirely virtually during the 2020 global pandemic.

“It only makes sense for a film like this to continue to break new ground by releasing via the blockchain. It’s a unique opportunity to be a part of history,”

the film’s producer and director Rick Dugdale said.

Following the film’s success, ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ star is now taking his love for NFTs to the next level. Time will show if Snoop Dogg or Jimmy Fallon can help Hopkins find a suitable NFT. Maybe Reese Witherspoon has a better option for him. Who knows?
