YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Elon Musk is making headlines again. This time, the world’s richest man has been accused of sleeping with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan, last December.

According to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, Brin filed for divorce from his wife the following month after he found out about his wife’s affair with Musk.

The two tech tycoons are known to be best friends. The Google co-founder is said to have helped Musk’s company, Tesla when the 2008 financial crisis came knocking.

According to the report, Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan were separated but still living together when Musk allegedly decided to break the bro code.

In retaliation, the Google co-founder liquidated his investments in Musk’s companies.

Elon Musk denies fling with Brin’s wife

After the report gained wide circulation on social media, Musk went on Twitter to deny the allegations. Calling the report “total bs”, the SpaceX founder claimed he never had any romantic encounter with Nicole. In fact, according to him, he has seen Brin’s wife only twice in three years, but never alone.

Musk also dismissed claims that the co-founder of Google broke his friendship with him because of the affair. According to him, he is still friends with Sergey and the duo ” were at a party together last night.”

To make his point clear, Musk claimed he has not had sex with any woman in a long time, much less with Brin’s wife.

“Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh),”

he claimed.

According to Musk, the Wall Street Journal regularly publishes hit pieces against him, basing their stories on “third-party random hearsay” instead of solid facts.

The report comes weeks after Twitter filed a lawsuit against Musk for dumping his plans to acquire a large stake in the company.

His initial plan to acquire Twitter had received a mixed reaction from employees and investors alike. However, it had sent the social media giants stock prices soaring, taking Dogecoin (DOGE) with it for the ride.

Why is Elon Musk all over the place?

This is not the first time Musk finds himself caught up in the negative press. In March 2020, when the pandemic caught everyone by surprise, he came out to bash people for worrying about Covid 19.

To the shock of fans and critics alike, he displayed his sexism, calling United States Senator Elizabeth Warren “Senator Karen”.

More recently, in May, Business Insider alleged SpaceX paid a flight attendant $250,000 to buy her silence after Elon Musk allegedly exposed himself and suggested to her to have sex with him.

Musk took to Twitter to dismiss the accusations, calling them “utterly untrue.”

His ageist attitude also came to the fore when he slammed 80-year-old US Senator Bernie Sanders on Twitter. Sanders, who holds strong socialist views, had suggested that the rich pay their fair share of taxes.

The world’s richest man’s name even came up during the high-profile trial involving Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

Musk, who dated Heard after she broke up with Depp, allegedly paid as much as $1 million to charities in her name.

The Neuralink co-founder is not new to headlines. Unfortunately, not all of them are good ones.
