YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — In the latest 12-page report summary on the 2021 US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Joe Biden Administration blamed former president Donald Trump for the chaotic exit, leaving thirteen US soldiers and 200 Afghan citizens dead. Responding to the allegations, Trump called Joe Biden “the biggest moron” in the White House.

During the press briefing, White House spokesperson John Kirby implied that the previous Republican dispensation is responsible for the quick return of the Taliban to power in Kabul.

Claiming that the Biden Administration acted based on the little information the previous dispensation left, Kirby said Trump failed to plan the withdrawal properly. In 2020, Trump struck a historic deal with the Taliban to end the war, the longest in the US’s history.

“President Biden’s choices for how to execute a withdrawal from Afghanistan were severely constrained by conditions created by his predecessor. The outgoing administration provided no plans for how to conduct the final withdrawal or to evacuate Americans or Afghan allies,”

 Kirby said.
The White House spokesperson denied that the Biden Administration failed to execute the exit from Afghanistan smoothly.

In contrast, the report allegedly clears incumbent Joe Biden of any responsibility for the hasty exit. The only acknowledgment of failure was that it admitted that the Biden Administration should have begun the evacuation of civilians earlier.

The Republicans have slammed Biden for complete mismanagement of the withdrawal.

Michael McCaul, the Republican chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee, tore into the Biden Administration’s “disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal” and demanded answers for the American people and US Veterans impacted by the chaotic planning and execution.

Donald Trump Reduced US Troops Size in Afghanistan

In the summary of the detailed report the US Government sent to the US Congress, the State Department and the Pentagon have levied damning allegations against Donald Trump.

According to the report, President Trump continuously reduced the number of US Troops in Afghanistan, weakening the American position on the ground. In contrast, the Taliban became even stronger during his tenure.

The report suggests that the United States had over 10,000 troops in Afghanistan when Barrack Obama left office. By the end of his tenure, Trump had reduced that number to just 2,500. With the withdrawal date that he had negotiated with the Taliban fast approaching, there was little that the Biden Administration could do.

Kirby also explained that to his credit, Joe Biden was able to buy more time from the Taliban to plan the withdrawal. However, he denied that the withdrawal was mismanaged and denounced all talk of chaos.

White House spokesperson John Kirby denied reports that the withdrawal from Afghanistan was chaotic

“Today White House spokesman John Kirby said he, “didn’t see” chaos in the Afghanistan withdrawal. SERIOUSLY!? Did he not see people hanging onto a C17 and falling to their deaths? REALLY!? He should tell this to the families of the 13 brave service members who lost their lives,”

Congressman Ronny Jackson said.

Trump Slams Biden Administration

Responding strongly to the report, Donald Trump slammed the Biden Administration for trying to shift the blame on him. In a post on Truth Socia, the former US President alleged that the White House was playing a “disinformation game.”

“These Morons in the White House, who are systematically destroying our Country, headed up by the biggest Moron of them all, Hopeless Joe Biden, have a new disinformation game they are playing – Blame “TRUMP” for their grossly incompetent SURRENDER in Afghanistan… Biden is responsible, no one else!”

Trump further alleged that President Biden left military equipment worth $85 billion to the Taliban. Moreover, according to him, the US Government failed to evacuate American citizens smoothly.

Kash Patel, who served as the Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller under Donald Trump, also slammed Biden for the allegations.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump became the first US President to be arrested and prosecuted in court. Since his release, he has intensified his attacks on the Biden Administration.

Trump has announced his intentions to run again for re-election in 2024, so the political scene in the United States will only get messier in time.
