Russia on Rampage mode in Ukraine after Nord Stream Pipeline Controversy
After reports blamed the Biden Administration for the Nord Stream Pipeline blast, Russia has gone on a fresh campaign in Ukraine

YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — US President Joe Biden has screwed up big time, and Ukrainians are now paying for it. After reports emerged that Washington was allegedly behind the Nord Stream Pipeline controversy, Russia has gone on a rampage mode in Ukraine. Boosted by the Biden Administration’s falling popularity, the Kremlin has initiated fresh missile attacks on several cities.

Earlier this week, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh published an explosive story blaming Joe Biden for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline. The version, which claimed the US Navy organized the sabotage in cahoots with Norwegian divers, was consistent with the Kremlin’s claims since the blast in September 2022.

Encouraged by the report, the Kremlin promised to give a fitting reply to Washington. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov reiterated that “the US and several NATO allies were involved in this disgusting crime.” Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also hit out, claiming that “the White House must now comment on all these facts“. She also insisted that the US and partner countries “have something to hide“.

Meanwhile, the White House has maintained that Seymour Hersh’s account was “utterly false and complete fiction“.

Even European officials have now agreed that there is no evidence linking Russia with the attack.

With the Russian invasion of Ukraine about to complete one whole year, the Bidden Administration’s goof-up has given the Kremlin fresh ammunition.

Russian rains missiles on Zaporizhzhia

Increasing their aggression against Ukraine, the Russian forces began raining missiles on various cities. The southeastern city of Zaparozhzia was one of the biggest targets. According to reports emerging from the region’s officials, Kremlin’s forces attacked the city 17 times in a single hour.

“Putin’s ba***rds staged a massive attack on Zaporozhye. In one hour, 17 enemy landings were recorded in the city… the largest number since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This is all that this army of scum is capable of – shelling a sleeping city,”

Anatoliy Kurtiev, secretary for the Zaporizhzhia City Council wrote on his Telegram page.

Ukrainian officials in other parts of the country have also informed of Russian attacks in their regions. These include Kharkiv, Odesa, and the capital Kyiv.

Maksym Marchenko, the head of the Odesa region military administration has also claimed that there is “enemy aviation in the sky”. According to Marchenko, the Russians deployed “Kalibr-type missiles carriers are in the sea.”

“The enemy has launched missiles,”

 Marchenko wrote on Telegram.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russians used several S-300 surface-to-air missiles during the attacks. The strikes targeted energy infrastructure, including power plants and transmission system facilities.

As per reports, the armed forces also used Iranian Shaeed Drones for the attacks.

The Russian air strikes also allegedly violated the Moldovan airs space, drawing condemnation from the country’s defense ministry.

US Involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war

The latest coordinated attacks resulting in death and destruction follow Biden Administration’s Nord Stream Pipeline sabotage. However, the US involvement in the conflict is deeper than that.

Washington has been a key player in the war. It has given a boost to the weapons industry by sanctioning arms for Ukraine from its arsenal. This has created a demand for more weapons, helping the arms industry make billions.

Moreover, Washington has also pumped money into Russia by buying petroleum products made from Russian crude oil.

According to the Washington Post, the US provides coordinates to help them carry out strikes in Russian-occupied regions.

The U.S.-supplied HIMARS rocket launchers have been especially helpful in this regard.

“Ukrainian officials say that they almost never launch HIMARS rounds without detailed coordinates provided by U.S. military personnel situated elsewhere in Europe,”

the report claimed.

As per reports, the Russian rampage will not end any time soon. The Kremlin has set its eyes on a fresh offensive on Donbas. Worried about the escalation, Kyiv is preparing to fend itself against the attack.

Meanwhile, with the Nord Stream Pipeline controversy still gathering heat, Joe Biden has done a massive disservice to Ukraine. Will Germany, who was the largest beneficiary of the pipeline, condemn the US? Time will tell.
