Snoop Dogg, Eminem release BAYC-themed music video at ApeFest 

YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) – Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has received another huge endorsement from Grammy-Award-winning singers Snoop Dogg and Eminem at the ApeFest 2022.

The duo shocked fans of the blue-chip nonfungible token (NFT) collection when they released their new music video titled ‘From The D 2 The LBC’. Following the screening, the artists made an unexpected appearance on the stage.

The official Twitter account of Bored Ape Yacht Club also announced the news. The team also informed the community that a special BAYC merchandise collection would drop soon. However, people can only buy the ApeFest special merch using ApeCoin (APE), the official currency of the BAYC ecosystem.

Grammy Award nominee Illa Da Producer, who worked with Eminem on hits like ‘Killshot, ”The Ringer, ‘and ‘Lucky You, ‘among others, is the music video producer.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs feature in the music video

Both Eminem and Snoop Dogg are NFT supporters. They are among the celebrities that also flaunt an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.

As CoinChapter had earlier reported, Eminem shelled over $450,000 for Ape #9055, which bore a stark resemblance to his image.

Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, holds APE #6723, among other tiger-skinned tokens from the BAYC Ecosystem. 

The newly-released music video features both their apes. The singers can occasionally be seen transforming into their ape characters as they rap together. 

“Mind blown! This is insane!!! Could not have asked for a better intro to NFT Music Videos,”

 one excited fan tweeted following the premiere of the music video.

Eminem also shared an animation picture of the music video with both their Apes.

From Super Bowl disappointment to a new music video

The new video of ‘From The D 2 The LBC’ comes months after fans were disappointed not to see Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) in Super Bowl LVI.

Since news broke that both Eminem and Snoop Dogg will feature in the Pepsi-sponsored halftime of the 2022 Super Bowl event, fans let their imaginations fly.

Rumors hit the street that the start might put up a BAYC appearance since they both flaunted an Ape each. 

“So Snoop Dogg gets his ape to drink the Bored Ape YC M3 Serum during the Super Bowl halftime show (bought to you by Pepsi) and then M3 Serum Pepsi Mutant Ape Grape flavor goes on sale in stores across America the next day?,” 

one BAYC collector predicted.

Others from the community also gave their versions of what they thought would happen.

However, while the two artists did make an appearance, along with other stars such as 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre, fans didn’t quite get the BAYC mention they were looking for. 

This new video release at the ApeFest 2022 may compensate for their disappointment. Meanwhile, the floor price of Bored Ape Yacht Club remains under 100 ETH, with the cheapest Ape on offer at 98 ETH, according to OpenSea.
