YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Earlier this week, the US Secretary of State announced that the Biden Administration would send an additional $325 million worth of arms and equipment to Ukraine. Washington has led the efforts to help Kyiv fight off the Russian invasion.

NATO has also sent modern armaments, including German-made Leopard tanks and American Bradley infantry vehicles.

Since the war began in February 2022, the Biden administration and the US Congress have provided close to $80 billion in aid to Ukraine. The constant support, especially during economic hardships, has received widespread condemnation.

Several US citizens have slammed President Biden’s generosity. The Republican party has not been kind either. Since they control the House, they have constantly threatened to cut funding for the war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had succeeded in getting massive support from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

In January this year, after a long hardened stance, Germany finally agreed to break away from tradition and allow its iconic Leopard tanks to go to Ukraine

The country’s Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, announced Berlin would not block Poland from sending the tanks to Kyiv. The United States also announced it would supply Ukraine with Bradley fighting vehicles.

Former State Senator Dick Black has pointed out the failure of NATO-grade vehicles in Ukraine.

US politician Dick Black, who formerly served as a member of the Virginia State Senate from 2012 to 2020, has pointed out the failure of these weapons.

“Ukraine’s offensive hit a steel wall. 7,000 KIA, 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles destroyed in just one week with trivial gains. It is a pointless bloodbath. Charred Leopard tanks and Bradley vehicles lie everywhere,”

he wrote.

Russia destroys Leopards and Bradleys from Ukraine

Earlier this week, the Kremlin announced it had captured several German Leopard tanks and US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles on the Zaporizhzhia front in southern Ukraine.

The country’s Defense Ministry also released footage of Russian troops surveying the equipment. The fears of several Western military experts, who had warned that they could fall into Russian hands, have come true.

“Leopard tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. These are our trophies. Equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Zaporizhzhia region… Servicemen of the Vostok group inspect enemy tanks and infantry fighting vehicles captured in battle,”

the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Pointing out that the engines of some of these vehicles were on, the Ministry alleged that the Ukrainian troops had “fled” their offensive positions.

Russia has released footage showing the destroyed tanks and armored vehicles.

The Russian Defense Ministry also shared several videos showing the destroyed vehicles. Despite all the efforts of the United States and its NATO allies, Ukraine has failed to make any significant progress.

Russia has slowly recaptured some of the territories that Ukraine had recently liberated. As Senator Black Dick pointed out, “Telling Ukraine to fight for as long as it takes is inhuman.”
