YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — In a major revelation ahead of the 2024 US presidential elections, Joe Biden faces damning allegations that could cost him the Presidency. According to reports, he received a bribe of $5 million from an executive at the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings.
The incident happened in 2015 and 2016 when he was still the Vice- President of the US. His son, Hunter Biden, also received an additional $5 million from Burisma. It is noteworthy that Hunter served on the company’s board.
Joe Biden has been sending billions of dollars to Ukraine to help Kyiv fight off the Russian invasion. Americans now believe his efforts have something to do with the millions he received from the country.
The matter emerged when reports emerged that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) knew about it for years.
In June 2020, a “highly credible” informant shared details of the alleged bribe involving Joe Biden during a recorded interview with the FBI. The investigative agency took down the details in an FD-1023 form used for recording unverified information from confidential sources.
The agency had allegedly been hiding the information since then.
However, the Republican Party, angry with the indictment of former President Donald Trump, forced the story to come out.
Last week, the US Justice Department lodged 37-count federal criminal charges against Trump. The indictment disclosed accusations that Trump deliberately kept numerous classified government records at his residence in Florida and conspired to hinder their return to US officials.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy has slammed the Biden Administration, calling it “a dark day for the United States.”

Why did Joe Biden receive a $5 million bribe from Burisma?
According to people who have seen the alleged report, Joe Biden received a bribe from the Ukrainian gas company for political favors.
According to reports, Burisma Holdings owner, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, faced challenges accessing the US oil market due to a corruption investigation by then-Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.
Zlochevsky had to shell out $10 million to get the prosecutor off his back and have the investigation called off. Of this amount, $5 million went to Joe Biden (who he called “the big guy”) and another $5 to his son Hunter Biden.
Details from the document also revealed that the Ukrainian businessman directed the payments through different bank accounts such that it would take at least ten years for investigators to unravel the source.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna was among those that accessed the FBI document from June 2020. She confirmed the news about the bribe to be true in an interview with Fox News.
Several Republican lawmakers have called for President Biden’s impeachment over the scandal. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene even called for his arrest.
“President Biden should be impeached. Secondly, he should be prosecuted. This is unbelievable. It’s a pay-to-play scheme. He took a bribe from a from a foreign national in a foreign country that paid millions of dollars. Greene added. He needs to be prosecuted for this, and I would argue that he should serve jail time,”
she said.

Joe Biden bragged about involvement in Ukraine
Ever since news broke of the FBI interview, the White House has denied Joe Biden’s involvement in Ukraine’s internal affairs. The US President highlighted the allegations as “a bunch of malarkey.”
However, history is not Joe Biden’s friend. Critics quickly dug out an old video showing Joe Biden bragging about his escapades in Kyiv.
During his January 2018 appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations, Biden narrated how he pushed the then-Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, to eliminate the country’s prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Failing to do so would risk losing $1 billion in loan guarantees from the United States.
Shokin, as already stated, was investigating Burisma, the Ukrainian gas giant that paid the Bidens $10 million.
