PATNA (CoinChapter.com) —Russia has warned the US of “unpredictable consequences” if it does not stop arming Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin’s government was reacting to the US’s decision to send advanced air defense systems to aid Ukraine’s war efforts.

Reuters cited US defense officials to report that the decision to send the Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine might come in the current week. The US-built missile defense system would help Ukraine repel Russian aerial attacks.

The Russian embassy in Washington stated that Moscow would consider US action “yet another provocative step” by the Biden administration.

Continued deliveries of arms will only strengthen the Zelensky regime’s sense of impunity and push it to new crimes against civilians in Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Moscow said in a statement

Moreover, Russia alleged that the US has increased its meddling in the Ukraine conflict. The Putin government noted that the weapon flow from the west into Ukraine has increased, and the training of Ukrainian soldiers has expanded.

Moscow warned that Washington’s actions not only damage Russian-American relations but might create risks for global security.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces were destroying everything in front of them. Moreover, Zelenskyy noted that Russia is destroying city after city in Donbas.

Russia is destroying city after city in Donbas – like Mariupol, like Volnovakha, like Bakhmut. Defense in such conditions is not just heroism, it is something more. And I thank all our warriors who withstand the pressure of the occupiers.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly address.

The Ukrainian president thanked his soldiers for withstanding the “pressure of the occupiers.

Zelenskyy highlighted soldiers of the 46th airmobile brigade and the 80th and 95th airborne assault brigades for their efforts against the Russian advance.

What The Patriot missile Defense System Is?

The Patriot (MIM-104) is a long-range, all-altitude, all-weather air defense system that can counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft. The weapon system is indigenous to the US.

Patriot is an acronym that describes how the missile defense system’s targeting works, spelling out ‘Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target.’

Patriot usually requires crews of up to 90 to undergo at least 10 weeks of training.

However, the US army states that as few as three soldiers can fire the weapon system if needed. The weapon system would help prevent further attacks on Ukrainian civilians and energy establishments from Russian missile attacks.
