YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com)- Canadian singer and teen icon Justin Bieber has just boarded the Bored Ape Yacht Club community train. According to confirmed reports, the celebrated singer bought BAYC #3001 earlier today. 

The information available on Cryptoslam suggests Bieber paid an astounding 500 ETH for the BAYC NFT. In fiat currency, that amounts to a whopping $1.3 million. 

It seems Bieber has been on an NFT shopping spree. In a matter of three hours, he has dived into three popular nonfungible token projects. The pop star now not only holds BAYC #3001 but also has NFTs from Doodles and World of Women.

The 27 years old paid 13 ETH (around $34,000) for Doodle #8426. His Doodle NFT comes with a face covered with a pink bandana and a pink bucket cap. He also sports a body tan and a puffer jacket.

For his new World of Woman #7853 NFT, Bieber cashed out 16 ETH (over $41,000). The character features a woman with a lollipop hairdo, pearl earrings, and a rainbow necklace.

Besides these NFTs, Bieber also holds InBetweeners #3777, which is his Twitter profile picture at the time of writing. GianPiero, the artist who designed the singer’s Changers Merchandise, is behind the project.

The project’s roadmap also promises its NFT holders a mystery utility with Justin Bieber. 

BreakinNewsNFT founder Morgan also confirmed the news of the purchase on her Twitter handle.

Justin Bieber’s songwriter aped into BAYC last month

Justin Bieber may just be joining the BAYC bandwagon, but his songwriter jumped aboard earlier. 

Jacob Greenspan, aka JaeGreen, wrote the song Lifetime for Justin Bieber’s album Justice. The song even received a Grammy Awards nomination. 

He ‘aped’ into the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection in December 2021 when he purchased BAYC #7404.

‘Hello I’m bored ape #7404. I play guitar and produce music for a living, which is a dream… I love any new technology, but I got especially into crypto last year which led me to buying Bored Ape #7404,”

Earlier this month, famous rapper Eminem also jumped on the Bored Ape Yacht Club bandwagon. He acquired BAYC #9055 for $452,000. Last week, Hollywood actor and comedian Kevin Hart also fetched BAYC #9258 for $200,000 to join the likes of Paris Hilton, Jimmy Fallon, and Snoop Dogg.
